1973 Yamaha DT3 250 Enduro, in Competition Green, with only 967 miles. This motorcycle looks to be 100% complete with the original mirror, turn signals, and tool kit, items that are usually missing on these bikes. All the levers are straight and intact. Those were the first things to get bent or broken when people laid over these bikes. The inside of the tank looks to have no rust.
The prior owner stated the sprockets, chain and tires were replaced in 2025. Other than these items, the motorcycle appears to be unmolested in any way.
I cannot validate the miles are accurate, but they do appear to be correct based on the overall condition of the motorcycle. This Yamaha starts on the second or third kick when cold, no matter how long the bike sits. When warm/hot, the bike starts on the first kick. The bike runs strong and shifts through all 5 gears very smoothly. I have only run non-ethanol gas, and I have owned the motorcycle since April 2025.
Everything works - Yamaha Autolube (no need to mix the oil with the gasoline), the speedometer & tachometer, odometer & tripometer, instrument lights (which have green LED bulbs), the headlight, tail light, horn and blinkers. The battery is weak and should be replaced if you intend to ride it on the street.
I have the clear FL title in my name. The Owner's Manual is included.
Please note that my 1974 Ohio License Plate is NOT included with this sale. I put it on for demonstration only. Also, the mileage may increase slightly, but I will keep it under 980 miles.
